It has
been more than twenty years since Ger Chean switched from
aquaculture to the production and export of duck meat to Japan.
To cooperate with the government’s promotions of the Law of
Husbandry and legal slaughtering, under the active guidance
of Husbandry Section of the Bureau of Agriculture, Hualien
County Government, a slaughterhouse in accordance with the
Standards of Food Safety and Hygiene was set up in the Sanmin
Cultivation Area, Yuli Town, in 2005.

We have
very strict measures of management. The processing factory
is divided into the Polluted Area, the Semi-clean Area, and
the Clean Area. Steps of processing the live ducks and the
slaughtered carcasses, freezing, and packing are clearly distinguished,
and the workers in each of the Areas are not allowed to enter
the other Areas, to ensure the freshness and safety of the
meat.

Passed the verifications of the Korean Government , and began
exporting to the Korean market
Passed
the verification of ISO 22000, becoming the first duck slaughterhouse
in Taiwan to meet the requirements of the Food Safety Management
System.
Passed
the verification of Traceability System of production and
Sales by Animal Technology Institute Taiwan, becoming the
only duck meat manufacturer with traceability system in taiwan.
2008
Passed the the verifications of Singapore Government , and
acquired the permit of exportingto Singapore.
Qualified
with the Taiwan Premium Agricultural Products Aproval(CAS
Aproval)
